  3. Not done yet (Yes, Geek Alert)…
The Imperial Sith Lords, Lord Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Mara Jade and he Shadowguards.
An Empire that stretches across 200 billion stars (Countless Imperialized).
Those are the Major Statistics of the Star Wars Superpower, Trekkies give me yours and I will give you an honest answer of who would win. (I love Star Wars, and I like Star Trek, I’m a nerd and I don’t want to have to drag Doctor Who, the Sun Crusher and the Jedi Order into this, savvy?).

The Imperial Navy: Over 10,000 Imperial Star Destroyers, millions of support craft, billions of crewmen (47,000 per Star Destroyer and millions of pilots, The Executor SSD (19km in lengh with 2000+ Turbolaser batteries and concussion missile tubes) and the Death Star Battle Station (1,179,213 crew members).

  8. In terms of sub-light speed Star Trek owns Star wars. The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy takes more than 10 seconds to barrel down the 120 kilometer deathstar. As seen in the Equinox Voyager goes 1,000 kilometers per second. That would mean Voyager is 12 times faster than any star wars ship.

  9. Hey Hey, I want a formal debate no mudslinging none of that stuff. So perion, your freedom of speech has been relieved.

  10. Technology Perion? Last time I checked federation has ten times the firepower. Phasers are unaffected by gravity and are thus far more accurate. They also disintigrate. This makes them more effective than blasters. As for the ICS books the Force Net interviews shows that he didn’t even have the developed film. This makes it non-canon since he never saw the battle of geonosis. Does star wars have Transporters? Do they have Replicators? Do they have self- replicating cloaked anti-matter mines?

  11. I fail to see how being an obsessive delusional over japan is better than a fan on science fiction, when the latter attracts intelligent human beings and the former simply requires an immense amount of ignorance over Japanese society.

  12. Yes, very.

  13. LOL.
And then Picard’s old friend Q comes along with his omnipotence and makes all you described simply disappear.
    Game over.

  14. And you go back to proving how positive proton accelerators starships fighting off imperial deathstars are super totally awesome while you cling on to your poster of Darth Vader and William Shatner huddled in the corner of your mom’s basement, LMAO

  16. ya the empire wins automaticilly, also think of both of universes, not just the empire,(heeeeehhhhhm the jedi)

  17. Yeah, well i have served upon the Enterprise for the best part of its continuing mission, and let me tell the that the documentary you know of as “Star Trek: The Next Generation” does not come close the demonstrating the power of the enterprise or indeed the might of the federation.

  20. most Imperial Superweapons are conventional weapons and technologies that are simply Upscaled, using the empires near limitless resources and manpower to make possible, the Federation by contrast is little more than a third world country in terms of relative Wealth, Manpower, and Technology, the Empire can rebuild their superweapons if lost, and can use them repeatedly and with much greater versatility of use.

    Comment by Perion — January 6, 2009 @ 9:52 pm

  21. Superweapons: Two death stars, Fleet of World Devastators, Sun Crusher, Galaxy Gun, Eclipse Class SSD, Sovereign class SSD.

Federation “superweapons” are one shot wonders that have had all the scientists DIE who created it, thus an entirely new team has start over, which will take time that they don’t have. Or are extremely specific to the situation. the fact that they have limited re-usability and application, is why they are not classified as superweapons.

    Comment by Perion — January 6, 2009 @ 9:52 pm

  22. Imperial Industrial base: several million worlds, many of which are covered in farmlands, or factories, or cities.

Imperial Navy: millions of vessels ranging from 100 meters in length to 17km long, not including fighters.

Imperial ground forces: quintillions of Stormtroopers each superior in training and even more-so in equipment than Jem’hadar, with billions if not trillions of assault vehicles capable of dishing out starship level firepower.

    Comment by Perion — January 6, 2009 @ 9:52 pm

  23. federation industrial base: 150 member worlds, 1000 colonies many of which are barely self sufficient.
Federation Starfleet: 8000 ships including fighters
Federtation ground forces: 250,000 infantry, no assault vehicles.
    Superweapons: none to speak of.

  24. don’t confuse tactics with techno-gimicks,

Intelligent nanites eh? see the counter for the Holotroops, doubt Bacta would care for them much either.

stone of gol? one shot wonder artifact that could be defeated by some tree lizards (Ysalamiri), and I don’t just have only 6 films to draw on, I have 7 movies, thousands of novels, games and a TV series or two as well.

I also have something you don’t, basic real life military knowledge of tactics and common sense.

    Comment by Perion — January 6, 2009 @ 9:52 pm

  25. Counter to holographic troops with mobile emitters: conventional troops firing at the mobile emitters or EMP/Ion/Magnapulse weaponry to disrupt them.

also you have to contend with the hyperspace vessels zipping around you, destroying shipyards and weapons plants as they go.

Slipstream is at most 1.9 million times c
Hyperdrive at Grade 0.5 is around 100 million times c
